Having made dozens of trips between Wisconsin’s Coulee Region and New Hampshire’s Upper Valley over the past half century a couple of signs in Whitehall, New York are worthy of note. The route east from the Coulee Region is Interstate 90, (take any of a variety of options around Chicago) almost to Albany, NY. Exit just before Albany and travel local roads over to Intestate 87 which goes north to Lake Champlain.
The founding of the United States stands as one of history’s most astonishing stories—an improbable triumph shaped by courage, conviction, and what many of the Founders themselves believed to be the unmistakable hand of God’s divine intervention. In 1776, thirteen scattered colonies, lacking wealth, formal armies, or global influence, dared to challenge the most dominant empire on earth. By every earthly measure, the American Revolution should have failed.
June Dairy Month is a time to celebrate Wisconsin being America’s Dairyland.
June 4 is National Cheese Day. With nearly 1,200 licensed cheesemakers in Wisconsin, that’s double any other state!
As we celebrate being the nation’s #1 cheese producer, take a behind-the-scenes look at my annual Wisconsin Lunch a few weeks ago, which highlighted the unique taste of Wisconsin.
I think this is something we can all agree on: fresh cheese curds are delicious — and they squeak!
This month, a quiet yet powerful, positive movement continues to gain momentum. Fidelity Month, spearheaded by respected thinkers such as Dr. Robert George, is a national call to recommit ourselves to faith, family, and freedom. It’s a movement that seeks not to divide or provoke, but to rebuild—to restore the moral foundations that have long undergirded our nation’s strength.
Please join me in celebrating June Dairy Month.
As chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Revenue, I am fortunate to get a firsthand look at the impact dairy farms have on our state. After all, there is a reason why we are known as America’s Dairyland.
The dairy industry contributes $52.8 billion annually to Wisconsin’s economy and employs about 121,000 local workers.
On Monday, April 13, I officially announced my intent to run for re-election to continue to be your State Senator. Since then, I have been working hard collecting nomination paper signatures, knocking on doors, and connecting with voters across the 17th Senate District.
I am proud of everything we have accomplished together to make Wisconsin a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Southern Wisconsin has a strong voice in the State Capitol and I am excited to continue our work in the next session.
My name’s Tom Tiffany – I’m running for Governor of Wisconsin, but that’s not my whole story.
Truth is, I’m just a guy who grew up on a dairy farm and spent nearly 30 years working as a dam tender on the Willow Flowage.
I know what it’s like to work a long shift, balance a family budget, and worry about the future of our state.
I never expected to be running a race this big, and to be completely honest, I'm a bit flustered even asking for your financial help. I'd much rather just sit down, grab a coffee or Old Fashioned, and talk about how we fix Wisconsin.

Democratic candidates gathered for the Wisconsin Workers’ Forum for Governor on June 2, hosted by several unions. Former Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, State Representative Francesca Hong, former Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation CEO Missy Hughes, Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, and State Senator Kelda Roys participated.
The moderator asked extremely specific questions with follow-ups, shining new light on where candidates would take Wisconsin education.
Here is what the candidates said...
